CHRISTMAS IS NEAR. LLEGAN LAS NAVIDADES
I'm really looking for Christmas this year and I know that my girls are too, so we have already starting with some decorations.
Every year we like to make something together that we can treasure for years to come.
This year I though about some christmas balls and from our wedding decorations I had some polystyrene balls and with some bits of wrapping paper I thought on making some decoupage.
Tengo ganas de que lleguen las Navidades más que nunca y se que las enanas también están ansiosas, asi que ya hemos empezado con las decoraciones .
Cada navidad hacemos algo juntas que después podemos guardar como recuerdos.
Este año se me ocurrió hacer algunas bolas de navidad y con algunas bolas de polietileno que aun tenia de nuestra boda y algo de papel de regalo, pensé en usar algo de decoupage.

You will need some scissors, glue (I used just clear kids glue) and a brush. And enjoy your messy work, its worth it! If you need a bit more of help, just search for decoupage for more ideas and projects.
As soon as Mi comes back from school we will finished them (with Em helps). So I will put some pics when they are done. Please, feel free to link and to show me if you try them!
Necesitarás tijeras, pegamento ( yo usé del de colegio) y una brocha o pincel. Disfruta con este trabajo algo pegajoso, porque vale la pena. Si necesitas mas ayuda busca decoupage para mas ideas y proyectos.
En cuanto Mi vuelva del cole las terminaremos (con ayuda de Em, claro). Y mas tarde pondré fotos ya terminadas. Puedes compartir este link cuanto quieras y si te pones a ello, muestrame como va tu trabajo.
I'm here there with work in full swing. We used candle holders to put the balls while drying.
Y aqui están en plena faena. Usamos bases para velas para apoyar las bolas mientras se secaban.

GIRL'S BAGS
BOLSO PARA NIÑAS
Bueno, los bolsitos con golosinas para las niňas de la familia que nos regaló nuestra nueva mascota, Holly, fueron un éxito. Simplemente aňadí un lazito de distinto color para cada una. No tardé demasiado en terminarlos y creo que no quedaron tan mal.

ZAPATITOS ROJOS
I though about trying to create some shoes for my daughter,( thanks to my mum for the idea!), that without following a pattern.
And this was the result...
After I finish I just add a bottom for the close bit (making sure I didn't forget to make space for the bottom hole first :D ) and adding some pink spotty ribbons. My younger daughter loves them! And I would be adding the pattern later on. It would be my first one, so bear with me pleassseee.
Se me ocurrió hacer unos zapatitos para mi hija ( gracias mamá por la idea!), sin seguir un patrón.
Y este fue el resultado. Después de terminados les puse unos botones para el cierre (milagrosamente no me olvidé del ojal) y le aňadí unos lazitos rosa.
A mi enana le encantan! Y mas adelante pondré el patrón por aqui. Va a ser mi primer patrón, asi que tengan paciencia, porque algo se me puede escapar.

De nuevo sin seguir un patrón. Hay algunos cambios que haré mas adelante, pero son básicamente como los imaginé.
En el próximo intento me gustaria ponerle un color diferente en la suela, a ver como quedan.

OFICIALLY OUR FIRST POST
....And I hope not the last one.
We start in this new adventure as a family with tons of hope and tons of new ideas.
I start crochet for my girls, hats, scarfs, blankets... But after a while I had so many ideas and not enough available models, so E and M curiosities was born . I could have never done it without all the research we did before starting or the help from The Crafter's Barn. They deserve all the recognition and I hope the keep up the great job they are doing.

Empezamos esta aventura como familia con muchas esperanzas y muchas nuevas ideas.
Todo empezó haciendo gorros, bufandas y mantitas de ganchillo para mis hijas... Pero después un tiempo tenía tantas ideas y tan pocos modelos que así nació E and M curiosities. Nunca podría haberlo hecho sin la información que hemos ido compilando o la ayuda de The Crafter's Barn. Se merecen todo el reconocimiento y espero que continuen con el buen trabajo que hacen.

I'm working at the moment in at least 4 different projects plus a new idea that is growing on me.
The projects are: a lalaloopsy style beanie hat, an scarf that can be wear as well as neck warmer, two new purses and the idea is crochet in an small scale. Something like this: http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/patterns/dare_to_be_different_earring_collection.php . Its taking time to get use to a 0.75mm hook, but I'm sure it will worth it. I will put some pictures of all those projects later on.
Estoy trabajando ahora mismo en 4 proyectos diferentes y una idea que me ha surgido.
Los proyectos son: un gorro de estilo lalaloopsy, una bufanda que puede llevarse como calientacuellos y dos nuevas carteras, mientras que la idea es ganchillo a pequenha escala. Algo como el link anterior. Me está llevando tiempo acostumbrarme al ganchillo de 0.75 mm, pero estoy segura que valdrá la pena. Pondré algunas fotos mas adelante.
